Studio Locale is led by architect Josh Watson.
Growing up on the Gold Coast shaped Josh’s understanding of the region, its subtropical climate, landscape, materials and way of living. This connection to place continues to inform the studio’s approach today.
Working across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers, Josh works closely with clients to create architecture that is responsive to its setting, considered in its materiality and grounded in how people live.
